What to Expect
Your lessons follow the same structured approach as manual. You start with the basics in quiet areas, then progress to busier roads, roundabouts, and the routes around the Middlesbrough test centre. Because you are not splitting attention between gears and the road, most learners progress noticeably faster.
The Automatic Licence
An automatic licence allows you to drive automatic vehicles only. With the rise of electric cars — which are all automatic — this is becoming increasingly practical. If you think you may want manual in the future, you can always take a separate manual test later.
